Skilled in the design and manufacturing of high-precision chip-removal tools perfect for a wide range of industries that process materials, Acus creates custom-designed cylindrical and circular milling cutters, single-flute and multi-flute tools, non-standard tools and tools for roughing and finishing, in high-speed steel and solid carbide, or carbide-brazed metal, with complex structures and forms. Each of our milling tools is carefully designed with different features, and some even feature special attachments with sharpening and rake angles specifically studied for the type of material being processed by the user.
Acus has an internal department dedicated entirely to the development and design of customised tools and all of its manufacturing takes place within the company, guaranteeing high-quality work that is timely and closely monitored. One of the crown jewels in our manufacturing process is the construction of high-speed milling cutters used to manufacture moulds with special materials and rake angles that enable the tool to reach high performance levels, even when working with materials with very high Rockwell hardness ratings.
