Acus manufactures brazed form tools perfect for processing any type of ferrous and non-ferrous material, including steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, plastic, polymers and carbon material. Tools can be made solid or via induction brazing with two metals being joined together: one non-precious metal for the body of the tool and a cutting part made with carbide or polycrystalline diamond. If made using appropriate brazing techniques, brazed form tools with certain features and sizes can be the perfect solution, from an economic and production point of view, to respond to a wide range of different working requirements, due to their specific characteristics and properties. Brazed form tools can be restored, resharpened, modified and, last but not least, are cheaper than solid carbide or mechanical clamping tools.
